Work has now begun on the GCT Mural. Scaffolding has now been erected on the site and the wall has been made sound. A white base coat has been painted over the existing images and work started on the new artwork. We will update the site with more images as the work progresses.
All-time Greatest 11 Glentoran players.
The poll amongst Gentoran fans for your Greatest Ever 11 Players has now been completed and the famous faces to go on the Mural now decided. The poll generated an overwhelming response from Glentoran fans (so much so our makeshift postbox fell off the 'Halfers' hut due to the volume of voting slips on Saturday)! Remarkably too the final result ended in a 3-way tie for 11th place, fortunately the design is such we can accommodate all 13 players, so we're delighted to imform you that no-one will be left out.
All 13 names will be released here on the GCTNI.com website over the next few days or so in reverse order, and giving the percentage of voters who had each of them on their list.

Work is due to begin on the GCT Mural on Monday 15th January.
As agreed at last November’s AGM we are including in the mural the portraits of 11 all-time Glentoran greats, and a poll will be taken amongst ALL Glentoran supporters as to their 11 favourites from a shortlist provided by you the GCT members.
A voting slip is to be included in Saturdays' (v's Ballymoney Utd 13th Jan 07) Glentoran Gazette, and for those of you on the mailing list a copy has been sent to you directly. You should complete your form and place in the special GCT Mural 'Post Box' on the 'Halfers' hut at next Saturdays (20th Jan) home game with Dungannon Swifts.
So pick up your copy of the Gazette this weekend, or alternatively select your greatest 11 from the attached list in your email and send to before Saturday 20th.
Completion date for the Mural is expected to be end of February.
